Northern Safari Circuit

The Most Famous National Park in the World, this vast park is the backdrop for the epic sweep of the wildebeest migration, the most fantastic natural spectacle on the planet. A park the size of Northern Ireland, it is still possible to leave the majority of visitors behind and discover your own private gamelands with the right safari company.

The mount is the highest point in Africa with an elevation of 5,895 meters above the sea level. It is ranked 4th in the world. The Kilimanjaro Mountain with snow capped at the top is located just after the Equator line about 3º75' south of Equator. Kilimanjaro Mountain is composed of 3 volcanoes peaks. Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. Mawenzi and Shira, are extinct while Kibo is dormant.

Hemingway's Rift Valley oasis, this small pocket of riverine forest, nestled at the foot of the Rift Valley Escarpment is home to an astonishing biomass of tropical birds, monkeys and classic African Big Five game. Canoeing on the lake, village walks and mountains biking all add dynamic elements to the safari opportunities.

A rich tapestry of habitats, teeming with animals and birds. The park is a rewarding day trip from Arusha or Moshi. What to see are Ngurudoto Crater, Momella Lakes, MBT Snake and Reptile Farm, and Mount Meru. Activities are Game driving for wildlife viewing, Bird watching, Trekking, and walking excursions.

The classic Africa of giant Baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia parkland, populated by huge herds of elephant and a dry season population second only to Ngorongoro in numbers.

A salt lake situated between the Rift Valley’s Eyasi escarpment and the Kidero Mountain, the area around Lake Eyasi is home to the Hadzabe people, dome of the last remaining hunter-gatherers on the continent.

Soda lake with a population of flamingos. Lie just north of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lake Natron is a good area to visit Maasai communities and experience the Masai culture. Oldoinyo Lengai, only active Volcano, NgareSero waterfall. Walking safaris along the river gorges, as there are waterfalls, plunge pools and a natural jacuzzi fed by water coming from the Ngorongoro conservation area.

By far the largest lake in Africa, Lake Victoria’s fishing industries and the agricultural land around its shores has made the area an economic centre of Tanzania.
